Increase Effectiveness For Greater Peace of Mind.

Efficiency is doing things right, effectiveness is doing the right things.
— Peter Drucker

In this edition we take a deeper dive into the April Back Road Newsletter Step 2 - Taking small action steps. Business owners are constantly being pulled in different directions, leaving them feeling overwhelmed by the limited time in a day to organize their thoughts and complete the tasks needed to elevate their business.

“Being overwhelmed is not the result of having too much to do, it’s the result of not knowing what to do next.” - Michael Port

One small action step towards addressing this challenge is developing the skillsets involved with increased effectiveness. Being more effective will open up opportunities to find more time in the day, and help avoid a common owners trap; too much time working IN our business, while avoiding the time needed to work ON our business. Like any skillset there are many approaches that can be used to become more effective, but a strong task list methodology in combination with improved communication skills, is an actionable step in the right direction.

Business is tough, nobody can do it alone. With help from the technology in our pockets, and the age old advice from Dale Carnegie, we can create a powerful approach to improving our own performance, while elevating our business with clarity and peace of mind.

This editions Recommended Resources provide powerful tools that address overall effectiveness, resulting in increased performance, opportunity and growth.
